The following has been approved by OBIN members (Jan 2020).

The goal of OBIN is to build awareness of and support for a Basic Income in Ontario among the general public and key decision-makers in the political sector.

To achieve this, the following specific objectives will be promoted for this fiscal year (1 Oct 2019 - 30 September 2020):

1. To collaborate with individuals, groups and Basic Income Canada Network (BICN) to contact a total of 100,000 Ontarians, informing them about what a Basic Income is and why it is becoming increasingly urgent.
2. To convince 1% (1,000) of those contacted to join OBIN.
3. To convince 20% (200) of the new affiliates to become advocates for the OBIN movement.
