COVID-19 has highlighted the inadequacies of Canada’s social safety net. Basic Income is proposed as a solution to the financially precarious position that a growing number of Canadians, including students, find themselves in.
This event is a collaboration between Meal Exchange, Basic Income Youth Network, Basic Income Nova Scotia, Basic Income Canada Network and the Canadian Federation of Students.
